Libertyville Realtor Explores Libertyville’s Farmer’s Market and more
July 14, 2011
As a Libertyville Realtor, I love to explore the Village of Libertyville and the wonderful activities the community offers their residents. A few days ago I was in between clients so I stopped by the Libertyville Farmer’s Market. I was admiring the beautiful fresh flowers when I heard a friend of mine calling, “Judy! Judy Greenberg!” I looked up and she was holding a delicious breakfast crepe. She said, “Judy — you’ve got to try this. It’s delicious, it’s Bastille Day, so let’s eat a little French food in Libertyville.”
We strolled over to Libertyville caterer Michael Kaplan’s booth. He formed the Libertyville company “Hand Crafted Crepes” after coming home from a trip to France with his family. As soon as they stepped off the plane, Michael’s wife went to a Libertyville kitchen shop and bought a crepe pan. Their impressed friends just couldn’t get enough of the crepes. They spent a year making crepes in their Libertyville home before they decided to turn it into a business. And the story just keeps getting better.
This family makes and sells gourmet crepes at the Libertyville Farmer’s Market where residents of Libertyville, Mundelein, Buffalo Grove, and Long Grove shop for local and organic food. And who runs the business? The kids! I’m not kidding. Michael set up his Libertyville catering business so his kids could earn money for college. Now that’s thinking. Libertyville schools should be proud of their students who are not only learning how to cook, they’re learning how to run and operate a business as well. If you want to sample these delicious crepes, contact Libertyville resident Michael Kaplan at 847-367-0682, or send him an email at email@example.com.
While I do like to eat, I am also an award-winning Libertyville Realtor, and I can help you find the home of your dreams. I have a passion for excellence, and I’ve helped hundreds of clients either sell or buy real estate in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, including the communities of Libertyville, Buffalo Grove, Kildeer, Lincolnshire, Vernon Hills and Long Grove, and the surrounding suburbs.
Buying Libertyville Real Estate is ideal for those who desire a sense of community with many activities happening throughout the year. Libertyville has a vibrant downtown area as well as a large variety of free festivals, free concerts, and a wonderful Farmer’s market.
