- The first and foremost reason is that the Buffalo Grove seller who lists his home now will most likely net more money in his pocket. If your Buffalo Grove Realtor prices and markets your home correctly, it can sell within a few days.. at a price that would be at least comparable to a spring sale. The Buffalo Grove home I recently put on the market went under contract withiin a week and closed a month later at a record price. Additionally,Buffalo Grove homes that sell now may appraise higher in the winter than next spring. Appraisers look at recent comparables.. this fall and winter the appraiser will be looking at summer comparables but if we wait to the spring, the appraiser will look at winter comparables.
- There are very serious buyers looking for Buffalo Grove homes at this time who do not want to waste anyone’s time. That’s for sure. In cities with seasons that change, buyers will only trek through bad weather if they are seriously looking for a home. Nothing is worse than looking for homes in snowy wintery days where driveways are not plowed. I’ve been there done that!
